Alice Walker Bowles, beloved wife of Clyde O. Bowles, Jr., Esq., died at the age of 91 on February 1, 2018 just days before her 92nd birthday.

Alice is survived by her husband, and by many nieces and nephews. Alice was born February 8, 1926 in Remus, Michigan, and was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Gardinali, and their parents, Othel and Mary Walker. She was trained as a singer and actress, yet chose the life of a fully engaged
member of the urban Chicago Gold Coast community, including her membership in The Fortnightly of Chicago, a women's society founded to enrich the
intellectual lives of its members. She was particularly active as a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago, where she and her husband met and
were married nearly 60 years ago.

Graveside Service Monday, February Feb. 12, 11:30 a.m., at Memorial Park, 9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL. Rev. Judith Watt, of Fourth Presbyterian
Church, officiating.
